40. Brooke Baldwin


Brooke Baldwin studied Spanish and Journalism at the University of North Carolina. She started as a reporter for a small station in Virginia, but eventually was named lead reporter at a station in Washington, D.C. From there her career soared. She joined CNN in 2008 on “The Rick’s List,” with Rick Sanchez. When Sanchez was fired in 2010, she took his spot. Baldwin is now the host of “CNN News,” from 2-4pm EST on weekdays.

39. Mayanti Langer


Mayanti Langer is a sports Journalist with Star Sports, in India. Her interest of sports grew while she was in school playing for her football (soccer) team. She began anchoring live broadcasts of beach football games for “Zee Sports.” Soon after, “Zee Sports” offered her a position to anchor the show “Football Cafe.” She continued to host various football shows and anchor many games. She was a host in the 2010 FIFA World Cup broadcast in India, on ESPN.

38. Robin Meade


After winning Miss Ohio in 1992, and semi-finalist in the Miss America Pageant, Meade made her way into broadcasting. She had multiple positions at local stations, throughout the US, until she eventually reached HLN. Her first day anchoring at HLN was on September 11, 2001. Today, she hosts “Morning Express with Robin Meade,” every weekday morning. In 2011, she wrote “Morning Sunshine!: How to Radiate Confidence and Feel It Too,” which debuted as #12 on the New York Times Bestseller List.

Jenna Lee actually began her reporting career as a newspaper journalist after graduating from UC Santa Barbara. After enrolling at Columbia University, she began working at NY1 and freelancing for Forbes.com. After doing some on camera work for Forbes, she was hired by Fox Business Network. She left the Fox Business Network in 2010 and transitioned to the Fox News Channel. She replaced Jane Skinner and began co-anchoring “Happening Now.”

36. Rudi Bakhtiar


Rudi Bakhitar is best known for her days on “CNN Headlines News Tonight,” which she anchored from 2001 to 2005.  She also worked as a correspondent for the  CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360°.” In 2001, she anchored CNN’s coverage of of the September 11th attacks, in the United States. There is still speculation as to why she actually left CNN. In 2006, she  joined FOX news as a reporter. In 2015, she appeared in the documentary “NOWRUZ: Lost & Found.”

35. Gigi Stone


After receiving her graduate degree from Columbia University, Stone’s first position was at an ABC affiliate station, in North Carolina. Since her first job, she has been a correspondent on multiple ABC shows including “Good Morning America,” “World News Now,” “ABC News Nightline,” and “ABC World News Tonight with David Muir.” She is credited with producing “BusinessWeek Weekend,” in 1999. She is also on the Board of Directors for The Opportunity Network, which helps low-income, but high-achieving students attain great education.

Pamela David rose to fame after appearing on the reality Tv show “El Bar TV 2.” She was soon noticed by the Argentinian version of “Playboy,” for which she did several spreads. 33. Giselle Blondet


In 1997, Giselle Blondet became the co-host of Univision’s “¡Despierta América!.” In 2003, she released her autobiographical book, “Con los Pies en la Tierra.” She left “¡Despierta América!” in 2005, however, she continued to be a reporter and presenter. She has worked on shows such as “Pa’lante con Cristina,” “Nuestra Belleza Latina,” and “Fashion News Live.” She also has an acting career and has worked on a few TV shows and movies.

Jimena Sanchez works on the Latin American version of Fox Sports. Anna Gilligan is a former entertainment reporter for “Good Day New York” on Fox 5 in New York city. She was the host of “FastTrack” on FoxBusiness.com and former reporter for “Meettheboos.tv. ” She was a frequent guest on the late night talk show “Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld.” Gilligan is married to WNYW evening anchor Steve Lacy. 29. Betty Nguyen


Betty Nguyen has had a very successful broadcasting career. Betty was born in Vietnam but her family moved to the United States in 1975. She graduated from University of Texas with a degree in broadcast journalism. Her first anchor gig was on “CNN Saturday” in 1998. She spent a few years at CNN, appearing on various shows including “The Situation Room” and “American Morning.” She made the jumped to CBS in 2010, appearing as a correspondent on “The Early Show.” She eventually moved to NBC and she is now the host of “MSNBC Live.”

28. Laurie Dhue


Laurie Dhue began her professional broadcasting career as a Guest Host on the “Fox Report.” Soon after, she made appearances on “CNN Saturday,” “Fox News Live,” and “The Pulse.” Between 2007-2008, she made many appearances on “The O’Reilly Factor.” Beginning in 2013, she started hosting “For The Record,” an investigative documentary series. She left the series in 2013. In 2011, she admitted she she battled alcoholism but successfully received treatment. Today, she travels the U.S. as a recovery advocate, giving speeches, and hosting events.

27. Jill Nicolini


Jill began her broadcasting career on the radio at a local station in Long Island, New York. Soon after, she became an on-camera traffic reporter on a local Long Island’s news channel. In 2003, she participated in the reality show “Married By America.” She joined Fox affiliate station WNYW, in 2011, as an entertainment reporter. She is currently the entertainment and traffic reporter on “CBS 2 News This Morning.” She has been nominated for 13 Emmy Awards.

Krystal Ball is a jack of all trades. She is a journalist, business owner and public accountant. Ball has strong political views, and therefore she has flourished in journalism as a political commentator. She has appeared numerous times on TV shows such as “Martin Bashir,” “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell,” and “Politics Nation with Al Sharpton.” Beginning in 2013, she co-hosted a new MSNBC show, “The Cycle.” Unfortunately, “The Cycle” was cancelled in 2015.

25. Susan Li


Susan Li has seen international success in her broadcasting career. Her career began at the Canadian Broadcasting Company as an associate producer and freelance reporter. From 2003-2006, she made her way across the globe and anchored in Beijing at CCTV International. She then joined Bloomberg Television and hosted the channel’s first primetime newscast, “Asia Business Tonight.” In 2015, she moved again, this time to London and joined CNBC Europe. In 2016, she moved one last time to the U.S. and now works for CNBC.

24. Judith Rakers


Judith Rakers excelled in school and while at the University of Münster she studied journalism and communication studies, German philology and modern and contemporary history. Like many other anchors, Judith Rakers began her broadcasting career on the radio. Her breakthrough job came in 2004, when she began presenting the “Hamburg Journal.” From 2010-2016, she co-hosted “III nach neun.” Since 2005, she has presented the news on “Tagesschau,” on the German channel ARD. 23. Elisabeth Hasselbeck


Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s rise to fame is in many thanks to her participation on the second season of the reality TV series “Survivor.” Shortly after, she married NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck. Since then, her career sky rocketed. She has appeared multiple times on “Hannity,” “Entertainment Tonight,” and “Rachael Ray.” In 2003, she replaced Lisa Ling as a co-host on “The View.” From 2013-2015, while still on “The View,” she was also co-hosting “Fox and Friends.”

Graduating from The Pennsylvania State University in 2008, Melanie Collins has become a CBS contributor and one of the lead reporters for Yahoo! Sports. She reports on college football, college basketball, the NBA, gold, and the MLB. She has also worked on major events such as the Olympics, the World Series, and the Super Bowl. 21. Shibani Dandekar


Shibani Dandekar was born in India, but grew up in Australia. She eventually moved to the U.S. and began hosting 3 nationally syndicated shows: “Namaste America,” “V Desi,” and “Asian Variety Show.” She returned to India to pursue a career in music and modeling. 20. Tamron Hall


Tamron Hall started her career, quickly after graduating from Temple University, at a local station in Fort Worth, Texas. However, it wasn’t long until she moved up and onto a bigger station in Chicago. She gained national attention after she landed a one-on-one interview with Barack Obama before he announced his presidential candidacy. In 2007, she was picked up by MSNBC. In 2011, she was given her own show “NewsNation with Tamron Hall,” which ended in 2015. She currently works as a co-anchor on “Today.”

19. Kelly Ripa


The New Jersey native, Kelly Ripa rose to fame from her role as Hayley Vaughan on the daytime soap opera, “All My Children.” She played Haley from 1990-2010. However, in 2002 she landed her first hosting gig, alongside Regis Philbin. Regis was eventually replaced by Michael Strahan. She now is the main host, but she partners with various guests to host with her. “Live! with Kelly” won its first Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show in 2012.

18. Toya Washington


Toya Washington may be one of the lesser known in this group of women, however, her talent and beauty still fortify her place on the list. Toya Washington graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a degree in broadcast journalism and women’s studies. Her first professional position was at WISC- TV in Madison, Wisconsin.  After 6 years at WISC-TV, Washington joined WISN-TV in December 2002. She is currently serving as a co-anchor for the 5pm news.

17. Cecily Strong


Cecily Strong may not deliver the official news, how Cecily delivered lots and laugh and some news as an anchor “Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update.” This actress and comedian has also appeared in many movies including “The Meddler,” “The Boss,”and “Ghostbusters.”  She began working on “Saturday Night Live,” in 2012, and although she is no longer the Weekend Update Anchor she is still part of the regular cast.

Inés Sainz is a Mexican journalist that hosts the Spanish-language sports interview program “DxTips,” and journalist for Azteca Deportes. She has covered many prominent events including the World Cup, the Olympics, the Super Bowl, and the Champions League. She has interviewed many renowned athletes like Roger Federer, Lionel Messi, and Kobe Bryant. She also does English pre-event and ringside commentary for boxing. In May 2016, it was announced that she will host the Netflix reality show “Ultimate Beastmaster.”

15. Natalie Morales


Natalie Morales began her career at a local station in Hartford, Connecticut. In 2001, she joined “Today,” originally as a correspondent, but now is a co-anchor. In 2007, she join “Dateline NBC as a correspondent and host. She is still with “Today,” however, beginning in 2016, she became a co-hostess on “Access Hollywood.” In 2015, she appeared in the TV movie, “Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!” and the 2016 sequel, “Sharknado: The 4th Awakens.”

14. Nancy O’Dell

Nancy O’Dell began her broadcasting career at a station in her hometown of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In 1993, she became the co-anchor of the 5:30pm news for NBC’s Miami at WTVJ. Nancy  joined “Access Hollywood,” in 1996, as a co-anchor of the entertainment news show. She left the show in 2009. In 2011, she  joined the cast of “Entertainment Tonight,” where she is now currently the co-hostess. She has also done some acting with roles in movies “The Bachelor,” “Outta Time,” and “The Smurfs 2.”

Maria Menounos went to Emerson University in Boston. During her senior year, she worked for Channel One News. She graduated from Emerson in 2000. From 2002-2005, she was hired as a correspondent for “Entertainment Tonight.” In 2006, she became a correspondent for “Access Hollywood.” In 2014, she began working again with “E! Erin Andrews has certainly made a name for herself in the journalism world. Andrews early career included working as a freelance reporter for Fox Sports Florida and reporter for the Tampa Bay Lightning. In 2004, she was hired by ESPN. Since her time on ESPN, she has covered the World Series, College Football, and the Super Bowl. 11. Julie Banderas


Julie Banderas began her career working at multiple local stations in various U.S. cities such as Boston, Harrisonburg, Wiles-Barre, Hartford, and New York City. She joined Fox news in 2005, but she gained national attention after her interview with Shirley Phelps-Roper, a former spokesperson for the infamous Westboro Baptist Church. Zain Asher is the true definition of brains and beauty. She received her bachelor’s degree from Oxford University and her graduate degree in Journalism from Columbia University. Although Charissa Thompson may be best known for co-hosting the entertainment news show “Extra,” she got her start reporting sports. 7. Jackie Guerrido


Jackie Guerrido is a Puerto Rican journalist and weather forecaster. Her career in broadcasting began on the radio in Miami. She eventually was offered a a traffic reporter position on a local station, therefore, she simultaneously worked in TV and radio. Soon Univision found her and offered her a position as a weather anchor. She currently does the weather for Univision’s show “Primer Impacto,” which is broadcasted in the U.S. and Mexico.

6. Olivia Wayne


Olivia received her degree from the University of California. During her time in California, she interned for Warner Bros Records. After her internship, she returned to her native country of England and began a career in Fashion PR, working for Talk PR and in Stella McCartney’s Press office. 5. Mélissa Theuriau


Mélissa Theuriau became an international sensation after videos were uploaded by fans to YouTube of her reading the news. The videos received millions of views. Theuriau made her TV breakthrough after she began working as a newscaster and hosting a travel show on French Channel LCI. Eventually, she made her way to another channel, Metropole 6, and began hosting and acting editor-in-chief on “Zone Interdite.” She left “Zone Interdite” in 2012.

4. Sara Carbonero


This Spanish Beauty began her career while she was still in University, at a radio station. From 1995-2011, she was a Sports Newsreader on “Informativos Telecinco.” She trended in 2010, when her husband, Spanish Captain Iker Casillas, kissed her on live TV after a World Cup game in South Africa. If you like football you may have seen Jenn Sterger on the sidelines during a New York Jets game. 2. Kate Abdo


British born, Kate Abdo could impress anyone with her resume. Abdo has worked at DV-TV, CNN, Sky Deutschland and Sky Sports HQ. In London, she anchored the World Sport Program twice a day, as well as hosted Sky Sports News. She has hosted the Coppa Italia as well as the 2014 and 2015 FIFA Ballon d’Or. Abdo is an expert on European football (soccer) and fluently speaks 4 languages: English, Spanish, French and German.

1. Britt McHenry


Brit McHenry joined ESPN’s Washington, D.C.-based bureau, in 2014. She has covered major sports as well as done coverage for shows like “SportsCenter,” “Sunday NFL Countdown,” and “Baseball Tonight.” She made headlines, in 2015, after a video of her, verbally abusing a tow lot employee, surfaced online. ESPN suspended her for a week, but after the video’s release the tow company released a statement saying they did not want to see Britt McHenry suspended or terminated because of her actions.
